The Winery “Casa Vinicola Capo Passero” has been founded in July of 1972 in Pachino, in  the South-East part of the Sicily, area always favorite to the cultivation of the vine and land of big reads that in the past had “ennobled” many italian and foreign wines. It belongs to the family “Marino”, arrived to the 5th generation of wine producers.

The most important variety of the land, outstretched on the “Mediterraneo”, is the “Nero D’Avola”, where Pachino is considered “the true native country”.

During the years, the winery has produced the famous red wines of Pachino that have been commercialized in all the Italy.

Subsequently, with the major demand of “Nero D’Avola”, the “Casa Vinicola Capo Passero” has adapted own structure taking in the market reds full of color and the first various whites, thanks to the collaboration of a group of vine-growers which have modernized the techniques of cultivation of the grapes.

The winery includes structures and machineries of steel inox since the foundation, tanks of reinforced concrete and oak barrels for a best againg. Then, it uses innovative techniques and process, it has continual assistance of a prepared wine-maker.

All the operation schedule of wine is effected in the same locals of the cellar that has a capacity of Hl 9.150.

During the bottling of owners wines, on  aims at valoritation of the territory with the line “Sud Sud Est”, that exaltes, geografhically talking too, the extreme part of Sicily, that is Pachino and his surroundings.
